Sunlight and daffodils

Turns out the Rule of Thirds has nothing to do with photography in my house. The rule is: if you finish your "firsts" and "seconds", you're welcome to have "thirds"...if there's any left! Homemade ham and pineapple pizza for my boy tonight. And yes, he has to eat his veggies too!

Class trip to the nature center today and of course this one couldn't leave without holding the baby chicks. At least it wasn't the snake this time!

Missing the sweet pups I was taking care of last week, so this little sun catcher will have to fill the void...now we just need some sun so he can do his job.

I've been fighting a killer sinus infection, so my sweet boy picked these lovely flowers to try to cheer me up.

All. Day. Rain. Stopped for about 30 minutes and I thought I might get to log a couple quick miles...didn't happen. Probably a wise decision on my part. Tomorrow's another day.

Kids had a half day today, so we ventured out to the Mitchell Park Domes in Milwaukee for a little tropical escape. Unfortunately this really is as close as I'm gonna get to lounging under a palm tree this year, as our spring break plans got cancelled.

To the tall dad in the front row with the giant iPad, thank you for holding it in front of me so that I could at least watch my daughter on your screen.
