Raining outside, but always sunny at the indoor pool!

Checking out the recently downed trees in the woods. I think this clearing might be used for a retention pond for the new development going in. Just what we need, more mosquitoes...

Softball game was canceled, so she switched gears.

A few weeks back I shot a photo of the little creek in the woods across the street from my house and said that a big development was soon going to replace my pretty view...well the time has come. They have started clear-cutting the woods. This is the first time I have ever seen the sunset through the leafed-out trees and the cutting will not stop here. Unfortunately, as I type this, they are getting even closer. It's so heart-breaking. I woke up at 6:00 to the sound of chainsaws and crashing trees.

Every team needs a focused goalie. How lucky we are to have this one!

First weekend of summer vacation and I'm already burned out. If I hear the words, "we're bored" before 7:00 a.m. tomorrow, I might lose it completely.

This little one over did it today in the heat, watching her brother's lacrosse game, then playing her own game a few hours later. I tried to keep her hydrated, but I guess it wasn't enough. She went to bed with a bad headache and an ice pack on her forehead.

A Sunday morning treat for my sleepy little mermaids. The first batch off the griddle were shaped like mermaid tails, (well, to the best of my abilities anyway) but the girls grabbed them so fast that I didn't have time to take a pic. This was round 2.
