A last-minute itinerary change due to inclement weather, brought us to South Carolina, our favorite little edge of the world, for spring break. We had originally booked a week in Colorado Springs and less than 2 weeks before we were supposed to arrive, we heard rumors of a nasty spring storm working its way into the area. Turns out the rumors were true and we dodged a cold and snowy vacation disaster!
Instead, we enjoyed warm temps, ocean sunrises, beach lacrosse and poolside relaxation. It was a dream.
