Project 366 {WEEK 28}

Progress! After 3 months of neck and back pain, I'm finally seeing signs of healing. In fact, I've made it a full week without dislocating a rib. And as funny as that sounds, trust me, it's significant progress. Just ask my incredibly patient chiropractor who has been piecing me back together twice a week since April. 

I'm so impatient when it comes to recovery time and that probably hasn't helped much over the last 3 months. Every time I feel like things are getting back to normal, I push it a little too far and end up back on the DL.

So as much as I would love to shoot hoops or play a little backyard baseball, I think I'll listen to the voice in my helmet and give it a little more time. Hopefully summer will wait for me.

Day 192 {Organized} - Taking Charge

Proud of this goalie who took charge of a team of inexperienced players this weekend and came through it with his head held high, despite their last place finish. This weekend could've ruined him, but instead, he used it as an opportunity to step up, take charge and show the lax world what he's made of.

Day 193 {Pretty} - Uniform Malfunction

A windy evening on the ball field sent a few hats flying.

Day 194 {Family} - Busy Hands

Keeping her occupied while I try to quickly prepare supper after a late softball practice.

Because a brownie without ice cream is like a kiss without a hug.

Day 196 {Simple} - Simple Sunset

The sun sets behind Marquette's Valley Field as the Amplify Lacrosse teams prep for their tourney weekend in the Dells.

Day 197 {From Where I Stand} - A Better Door...

That time at the lacrosse tournament when I was trying to take photos and this little creature kept jumping in front of my camera.

Day 198 {Want} - You Gotta Want It...
