My 17 year old car died this week. We've had a good run, no regrets. She's not "DEAD" dead, anything can be fixed, but she's dead enough to warrant a search for her replacement. With 190,000+ miles (all put on by yours truly), it's going to be hard to say goodbye.
Thankfully I was close to home when the radiator decided to call it quits, unlike my previous car that died at an intersection in the middle of nowhere, so that's a bonus.
Like I wrote in my last post, everything happens for a reason. And the reason for this?...God only knows.
So for now we are going to be a one-car household until, A) we have a chance to get the car fixed or B) my dream car magically appears in my driveway...I should probably dust the spider webs off my bike.
