And therapy is exactly what I needed, as I somehow managed to dislocate my rib again on the first day of our adventure. After surviving a 13-hour car ride the day before with hardly a muscle cramp, I never would've thought that a casual boat ride, with a few minor bumps...(okay, they were actually pretty intense, but still...) could cause so much damage. After 3 weeks of being relatively pain free, I honestly thought I was on the mend. I'm so disappointed with this new setback.
So here I sit with my ice pack wrapped around my shoulders, muscle relaxers on stand-by, watching my summer fade away. I hate just being a spectator.
