Finally seven(ish) hours to work in complete silence, with ZERO interruptions. I used to feel terribly guilty about this, but I've since gotten over it. In fact, I'm WAY over it.
So here's to the 2016-2017 school year for restoring my sanity!
As a lifelong vegetarian, I don't often shoot photos of meaty entrees, but the two empty bottles of BBQ sauce next to the plate of BBQ pork kind of cracked me up tonight. I guess the fellas like their sauce.
Just a typical lunch hour.
Currently my favorite place to be...Just keeps getting better every day.
I have my driver's seat, the rest of the family enjoys the drummer's seat. I also like the fact that there are headphones involved, which means all I have to listen to is the quiet tapping of the drum pads. It's a win win for the whole family.
Though it may appear that I'm jumping for joy that I finally get 7 hours of peace & quiet to work during the day, I'm really just so excited for my kids to further their education...oh heck, who am I kidding? It's the first day of school!!! I'm freeeeeeeee!**
