What gives?
I guess I can blame it on the phase of the moon, or perhaps the double-dark chocolate brownie I ate an hour before bed. Whatever the reason, things are getting weird.
Sleep really shouldn't be so exhausting. And then I'm always up, wide awake, at 3 a.m., 2 hours before my alarm. I usually sit looking out the window for a while, watching the stars and wondering how many other sleep-deprived crazies are doing the same thing. Then it's back to bed for 2 hours before my day officially begins. I can't explain it. I just deal with it.
