Project 366 {WEEK 51}

Christmas week. I felt like Charlie Brown this year. Something was missing. I did my best to keep a smile on my face, but the cold temps, lack of sun, sore ribs and seemingly endless Christmas prep just about did me in. I did manage to sneak away for a while on Christmas Day, despite a house full of family, and hide out in my bedroom for a bit. I know, pretty ridiculous right?

Moving on to New Year's Week. Looking forward to saying goodbye to 2016 and closing the chapter on this year. Hoping that 2017 will bring healing and new adventures. Come on 2017, show me what you got.

Day 353 {I Spy} - I Spy

It's been a while, but look what decided to pay us a visit today! Despite the sun's best efforts, the temp didn't get out of the single digits today. Makes it a little difficult to get outside to enjoy all the freshly fallen snow. Loving Mother Nature's sense of humor right now.

Day 354 {Begins with C} - Chocolate Chips and Candy Canes

This lovely combo will soon become a delicious sheet of peppermint bark. That is, if I can stop eating all the chocolate chips...
